Last week, the company announced the first intercepts of near surface high-grade gold mineralization from its Kingsway project near Gander, Newfoundland. The Kingsway project is located in the highly prospective central Newfoundland gold belt.
Sokoman Minerals Corp. (CVE:SIC) was another losers on the as the pulled back after soaring 60% over the past month. The stock ended lower by 10.50% to $0.68. Total volume for the session was 1.71 million shares, compared to its average volume of 911 million shares. The stock moved within a range of C$0.6700 – 0.7500 after opening at $0.74. Recently, the company announced that, further to its April 13, 2021 news release, it has now closed its private placement and issued 3,770,592 units of the Company to Eric Sprott for gross proceeds of $980,354 (the “Financing”).
Wealth Minerals Ltd. (CVE:WML) stock ended lower on heavy volume. The stock decreased by 8.82% to C$0.31 on Wednesday. The stock saw an unusual volume with more than 438K shares traded hands, compared to its daily average volume of 312K shares. WML stock opened at C$0.34 and moved within a range of C$0.3000 – 0.3400. The stock has gained about 245% over the past 6-month. Earlier this week, the company announced that it has engaged a team of international senior executives providing strategic advisory services in order to further develop and market its unique lithium resources in Chile.
